NCCU as a member of the UST (University System of Taiwan) and works in alliance with National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University(NYCU), and National Central University (NCU). Students under the UST system can  take courses across campuses. In particular, NTHU cultivates science talents in fields such as computer sciences and engineering. Many of the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s employees have graduated from NTHU and are known for their solid skill-sets.
